Just got finished reading a Lisa See novel where Chinese footbinding was discussed.
The main characters foot was dainty by Chinese standars at 7cm.
That is 2.75 inches.
That is exactly the length of MY BIG TOE.
I would have been fetching water in China...or just stomping on the high class.
